Everything you need to know about dress rehearsal and recital can be found here!!

Tickets

Tickets will be first available at picture day on March 17. Limit of 6 tickets/account. Additional tickets may be purchased starting April 1.

  • Tickets:

    • Date specific​

    • Must be purchased for anyone occupying a seat

    • Not meant for students. Seats are meant for parents, grandparents, family etc.

      • Students should not be in the auditorium​​​

    • Are non-refundable

    • Tickets ALWAYS sell out. Do not wait until the last minute!!!

Pictures: March 17, 2024  @ Bad Axe Studio

Pictures will be taken by Portrait Expressions by Janel at rehearsal. Packages will be available, every student needs to be in the group photo even if you do not purchase a package.

A picture schedule has been distributed, please ask if you have not received one! Also, if your person will not be present, please let us know.

Dress Rehearsal- Laker High School Auditorium- April  11  & 12

​

               When:   Pigeon Studio: Thursday, April 11, 2024  @ 4:30pm

                           Bad Axe Studio: Friday, April 12, 2024     Gymnastics @ 4:30pm    Dancers @ 5:30pm

               Where:  Laker High School Auditorium. All students meet in the auditorium.

  • Please wear your costume and shoes!

Recital- April 13   & 14  :   Gymnasts arrive at 12:30p, dancers arrive at 1:00pm

​

Doors will not open until 12:30pm.

Pigeon Basic Rhythm Class performs on April 13th only.

Bad Axe Basic Rhythm performs on April 14th only.

ALL other classes perform both days.

​

  • Students cannot sit in the auditorium. Exception will be for the basic rhythm students AFTER their performance.

  • Students need to stay in the gymnasium and not wander.

  • Please remind them to respect the school's property.

  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen items, keep this in mind when you pack your bags.

  • Flowers and gifts will be able to purchase for your little star.

The biggest piece of advice we can give is have fun. This is meant to be a great experience. This list isn't meant to be negative or frightening but purely informational. We want everyone to shine and have wonderful memories.

All of our instructors will be busy prepping on these crazy days. Please PLEASE call or text them BEFORE rehearsal/recital with questions or problems. We may not be able to answer questions during the chaos!

  • Costumes

    • Full costume, including shoes, tights​

      • Gymnasts NO shoes or socks. Footless tights.​

      • No underwear.

      • Mature students must wear a nude bra with nude or clear straps. Cups can be sewn into costumes.

      • Alterations should be done, if needed

      • Costumes shouldn't be wrinkled.

  • Hair

    • Be mindful of what the student is performing. Instructors will provide information for anything specific that is needed.​ If their costumes included any hair pieces they MUST be secured! Every year a piece comes off onto the stage and becomes a hazard. 

      • Dancers (without any instructor instructions)​

        • Ballerinas should have buns​

        • Hair should not be distracting to their performance

      • Gymnasts

        • Buns, ponytail, braids, or anything along this line

        • Absolutely NOTHING on top of their head due to the skills they perform

        • MUST be out of their face and up in some fashion, no half up dos

  • Makeup

    • Makeup should be dramatic and dark. What looks like a lot up close will look

    • just right on stage. Everyone must wear makeup. Have fun with this!

      • Red lip stick​

      • Blush

      • Eye shadow

      • Mascara

  • Jewelry

    • Unless you are to wear certain pieces with your costume, no extra jewelry. Stud earrings ONLY are okay.​
